The Committee was established in 2002 to support the growth of the financial services sector and to protect the image of the Territory as a top echelon international finance centre.

They assist the IFC by building awareness of, and strengthening confidence in the BVI among international business investors and other key stakeholders.

They also help to attract and retain reputable, long-term and sizeable new business to the BVI.

The Committee is chaired by the Executive Director of the IFC and is comprised of the President of each Financial Services Association.
